Example of a Client Visit Scenario
Your day starts with a visit to a client who has recently been feeling quite isolated and emotionally vulnerable due to limited mobility and recently losing their spouse. When you arrive, you greet them with a gentle and caring approach.
After your initial conversation, you begin assisting them with their morning routine. This includes helping with getting out of bed, personal hygiene, continence care, dressing, and medication prompts. Throughout these tasks, you remain caring and sensitive, while also respecting their need for privacy and independence.
Throughout your visit, you also ensure that their living space is comfortable and safe, handling any light housekeeping tasks and ensuring their home environment is safe and secure.
As you leave, you reassure them about your next visit, leaving them with a sense of joy and the feeling of being cared for, both physically and emotionally.
You leave the client’s home, content that they are safe and happy before heading off to your next client visit.
