Cpl Healthcare is seeking compassionate and motivated Social Care Workers to join reputable services in Mayo, across two departments:
- Supporting young people in a residential setting, or
- Supporting individuals with disabilities in a residential setting.
As a Social Care Worker, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care, promoting independence, supporting daily activities, and ensuring the well-being of service users. Your role will be integral to the day-to-day running of the service, where you’ll help foster an emotionally and psychologically safe environment.
Role Overview:
- Work collaboratively as part of a team and take initiative when required.
- Build and maintain professional, supportive relationships with service users and all relevant stakeholders.
- Attend team meetings for effective communication and planning.
- Provide keyworking support, advocating on behalf of those in your care.
- Assist in the daily running of the service, ensuring smooth operations.
- Adhere to HIQA standards and regulations for residential services.
- Conduct risk assessments and support safeguarding measures for vulnerable individuals.
Essential Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum Level 7 qualification in Social Care or a related field.
- Strong understanding of person-centred care, keyworking, and safeguarding practices.
- Experience and understanding of risk assessments and safeguarding of vulnerable adults.
- Knowledge of HIQA policies, procedures, and Children’s First guidelines.
- Full, clean manual driving licence.

- €36,000 - €47,000 per annum, depending on experience.
